Michael C. Gergely

Michael is the founder of what is now known as Gergely Law Offices PC. With 40 years of experience, Michael specializes in family/divorce law, criminal law, estates and trusts, and personal injury law.

In 1960, he received his bachelor of philosophy. Two years later, he completed his masters in international politics and economics. In 1965, Michael finished his doctorate in jurisprudence from the University of Detroit.

In 1966, he became assistant prosecuting attorney for Kalamazoo County. There he worked on trial litigation and handling appeals to the Michigan Court of appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court.

Michael is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Kalamazoo County Bar Association.

Christopher J. Gergely

Gergely has been a partner at Gergely Law Offices PC since 1992. He specializes in the divorce law and offers his services to the attorneys and clients on a consultation or engagement basis. Gergely combines compassion with tough advocacy.

Apart from the divorce laws, he also works on cases involving matrimonial and family law, custody, and visitation, relocation, child support and spousal support proceedings, enforcement and modification proceedings, contempt of court proceedings, paternity, domestic violence, and interstate abduction and custody matters.

Additionally, he also serves as a criminal defense attorney and possesses an experience handling both felony and misdemeanor cases.
